    Product Description

    The Type A "Sutton" Harness was the standard RAF seat harness for high speed aircraft from the 1920s - 1950s when it was replaced by the Q Harness.  In service it was supplemented by lap sash harnesses in bomber aircraft and crew positions.  The two harness types were also used by many Commonwealth airforces.

    We made this set as we find the prepainted etch sets from other manufacturers cannot be annealed and shaped without the paint flaking off.

    The set includes four Sutton harnesses and four lap sash belts.
