Product Description
One of the first post war racers, this airplane was owned by Woody Edmonson who raced it at the 1947 National Air Races in Cleveland. Woody came third in the Kendall Trophy Race,but disaster struck during the Thompson race. In the eleventh lap the Allison engine quit with Woody crash landing and severely damaging the aircraft.
The High Planes Models conversion includes:
- new limited run injection moulded plastic propeller
- A-36 nose intake
- wing tips
- rear compartment floor and firewall
- decals for Race 15
