Product Description
This aircraft started life with the RCN before ending up with Mike Carrol in 1965. He chopped off 6' 6" from the wing,replaced the canopy and filled every joint.It wore this spectacular scheme as the 'Signal Sea Fury' at Reno 1967.Unfortunately, Mike was killed in a P-39 in 1969 and the aircraft went to Dr Sherman Cooper who changed the name to 'Miss Merced', winning silver at Reno'70. Its engine failed during a new 1000 km race at Mojave in 1971, the crash inflicting heavy damage.
The High Planes Models kit includes limited run injection moulded plastic, Falcon vacformed caopies and white metal parts.
