The Aermacchi MB-326 first flew in 1962 and was an immediate success for the Italian manufacturer. It was produced under licence in Australia, Brazil and South Africa and in more than 20 subtypes.
This set is designed to enhance the Supermodel / Italeri kit and includes two Martin Baker Mk 6 ejector seats, flaps and the shrouded nose wheel used on the RAAF MB-326H. (Note: the rendering shows the ejector seats without manual sculpting, the additional photos show the front and back of the completed seats)
IN MEMORIAM
Modellers from Melbourne, Australia will remember Eric Sujecki, former owner of Victorian Hobby Centre, who sadly died in 2013. Eric created the Plane Bits, Armour Bits and Rail Bits ranges of accessories.
Some of the moulds and masters from the Plane Bits range were passed to HPM and we are selectively remastering or re-releasing these in his honour. RIP
