Tasman Model kits have been re-released by Jays Models. This Upgrade Rapide kits featuring the Heller Rapide kit. It features the aircraft owned and operated by Sky Neon Aviation between February 1954 and February 1955. Sky Neon were the first to use custom built neon tubing fixed to frames under the wing to advertise popular brands of the time.
The kit includes specially designed 3D Printed parts by HPM Hobbies, glow-in-the-dark pigment, rigging wire and decals for two options G-AHKV and G-AHGB. A concise set of instructions and photo-sheet make up this unusual model, limited to just 250 boxings.
