This High Planes decal set provides the serials and presentation markings for A9242, a presentation aircraft with 68 (Australian) Squadron RFC. Presentation aircaft were paid for by public subscription and often painted with a dedictaion. In the case of A9242, the dedication read:
NEW SOUTH WALES No 14. WOMEN’S BATTLEPLANE
SUBSCRIBED & COLLECTED BY THE WOMEN OF NEW SOUTH WALES.
We made this set for a personal project but have included it in the range for other modellers interested in RFC, RAAF and 2 SQN history. It is designed to use the national markings from the donor kit.
The decals for this conversion are a combination of digital (ALPS) prints. The digital print decals are finished with a continuous film and must be individually cut and applied with care.
