    Product Description

    The AIM-9B is an heat seeking first generation air to air missile and one of the mostly widely used early AAMs.  The first combat use was in 1958 with the Republic of China Air Force and was later used in Vietnam and the Indo-Pakistani Wars.  This set includes the AERO-3b launch rail.  

    It has been used on many aircraft: F-86 Sabre, F-100 Super Sabre, F-104 Starfighter, F-105 Thunderchief, F-4 Phantom, F-5A Freedom Fighter, Mirage IIIO.

    This High Planes accessory set includes two 3D printed missiles.  Before using, the parts should be washed with laundry detergent and primed with spray primer.  Priming and light sanding may be needed to remove print strata marks.  The decals are printed using a combination of ALPS prints (white) and digital print with an 18 micron polymer coating (Micron 18)
