    Product Description

    This High Planes set includes the parts needed to correct the Academy PBY-5 Catalina kit powerplant.  This version is suitable for the late Catalina variants: PBY-5, PBY-5A, PBY-6

    Detail set includes:

    • Twin Wasp Engines (PU Resin)

    • Correct diameter Cowls & Gills (PU Resin)

    • Replacement Nacelles (PU Resin)

    • Tubular & Fishtail Exhausts (PU Resin)

    • Hamilton Standard 12' dia Propellers and Hubs (PU Resin)

    • Early & late Oil Coolers (PU resin)

    NOTE:  The propeller blades are very fine and may distort in shipping. If this happens, simply dip in hot water for 10-15 seconds to reshape to the correct shape.
